I would. We saw his schtick at Minnesota. Beth is a helluva lot smarter than to hire Pitino. He wouldn't even generate a yawn from Iowa fans, most of whom, I think, would totally give up on the program. I'd be out. That's for sure.

The apple usually doesn't fall far from the tree. Personally, after seeing low Lil Dick's daddy has been willing to go to win, I definitely do not want a Pitino coaching Iowa. We saw him coach several years for the Goofers. That alone should convince anyone that there are better choices.
Perhaps, but my theory is that he also found more success going down a bit from the Big Ten to coach at New Mexico. Kind of like a former Iowa coach..
Petino had great guard play at Minny and it looks like he still gets it. College ball is a guard oriented game.
He can recruit and coach. He learned a lot at Minny and is only 42. I would take a good look at him if I were Beth.
