New Scholarship Offers

Don't know if Margaret's apple crisp is as good as mine, but a scoop of cinnamon ice cream on top should seal the deal for any of those kids.

Could qualify to be an assistant coach AND makes excellent apple crisp? Not to mention being half of one of the better basketball talent producing households in the state?

An extremely undervalued part of the basketball program. And I mean undervalued, doesn't get paid a cent!

Huerter offered today, his video looks really solid. Kid has a solid stroke.

Regarding Simpson, I think he will be hard to get away from OSU or MSU. They have both offered.
I would love to see Huerter in a Iowa uni! I watched his recruiting video and really was impressed. I'll add the link.
Great vision and passing skills. He does look painfully thin and needs to bulk up a little.

"I'm ready for the boom!"

I've been wondering. Exactly what does it take for you to hear the boom?

Would be nice if we can get a commitment from one of the four 6'10" guys we seem to be following. I think I could be happy with any of Keita, Brunk, Davis, or Potter. Someone remind me how many schollys we have for '16? We already have Pemsl. Huerter looks good too, size, range, and a relationship with the McCafferys. Wonder where we stand with Ivanauskas and Rakocevic? Just hoping our recruitment efforts bear fruit with higher upside kids. Wonder if Cook and Santos are still interested?

Haven't heard anything from Santos in a long time so that's a good question. Cook should be at the top of everyone's wish list for the 2016 class, but we have some strong competition for him.
We have 3 scholarships left for 2016. The graduating class includes Gesell, Woody, Uthoff, and Clemmons.

As far as I know we are still highly interested in Santos, despite the fact that he has been injured a lot lately. He was supposed to visit around Thanksgiving, but something came up. I don't know if he's made up the visit this school year.

Cook probably is my #1 in this class, I'm just not getting my hopes too high. He has a lot of offers, including the local schools like Kansas and St Louis. I really hope Kansas is stringing him along right now, like they did with Nairn (who ended up at MSU).
