I think that’s IU for your 5th game.
Not feeling too confident to win at Maryland. So hard to win on the road. IU is gonna be a tough matchup for our guards but not sure who they have to match Garza.

It looks like NU is IU? I was confused because it was NW, NU, then Neb. I didn’t think we were playing anyone back to back
I believe Morsell will be out as he just had surgery to repair a facial fracture. It is supposed to be a 1-2 week absence. With the added disadvantage that they play on Monday, while we are off until our Thursday game, I like our chances.
I assume Northwestern is the L? I fully expect the next three to be dog fights, and each of those teams is capable of beating Iowa.
Iowa does need to pile up some wins here in the first half of the conference schedule. None will be automatic/easy. Back half of schedule is brutal. Road games at Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan State. Yikes.
The win at Rutgers despite falling behind by 6 points multiple times in the 2nd half was as impressive a win as you will see. Not many teams will win at the RAC this year; possibly not any others. So refreshing after the tough L at Minnesota. Let's hope they can keep the momentum up. Maryland won at Wisconsin earlier this week; they will not be a pushover.
Maryland, who I expected to have a better record than they do, have already lost two B1G home games to Rutgers and Michigan.
Anybody.. likely to have one bad home one.. however a perfect 10-0 would be massive with that brutal road schedule
I think you should just go ahead and predict a loss for all three.

It's all about matchups. The only teams that are going to present problems for us are teams with both: 1) quick guards who penetrate; and 2) mobile bigs.
Michigan, Illinois and Rutgers (and we already beat Rutgers). Wisconsin is Wisconsin. They give everyone trouble but I like our guard matchups against them.

Did you know that they just beat Wisconsin at the Kohl Center? I'll be happy with a 1 point victory.

A 'next X games' schedule with MSU, Indiana and @ Maryland on it, and the @NW game looks like the toughest in the bunch.

All about free throws, as we shoot a lot. 14-1 second half in the RAC, and missed a bunch in the 2nd at Minny or that game never gets near OT.
This is the part of the schedule where we have to make hay. The 2nd half of the schedule is much tougher. If we can go 5-1 in this stretch it would be fantastic.
Yep! 4-2 worst case is a must to finish top 3 or so with hopes of a title for the 1st time in 41 years
Not a great idea for your well being as a fan to look ahead too much. Every game in the B1G is tough, except maybe Debbie, which even has some talented players, who just don't play together.
I know been doing it for decades and never learned.
Exactly what my cousin and I said the other day. Won a hell of a game at Rutgers and had minny. Take care of business these coming games and should be right there in the end for the title. Unreal how tough the league is this year.
Best team Iowa has had in years just happens to coincide with the rest of league being the best top to bottom . Why can't we have a year to be easily the best in the league?
