Only two recruits Iowa had on visit that haven’t committed is Gabe Arnold and Josh Barr. My zero knowledge guess is Arnold to Iowa and Barr to PSU.
I say we all get on Coach Phil for a little help! Coach, you certainly have many great options to choose. I have to believe that IOWA has to be one of them. As was pointed out in another thread. No where else are you going to have 15,000+ fans going totally crazy for you but here.
I am certain many would argue about who has the best coaching staff. I know here, we believe it is TnT and crew. If they are not the best in anyones eyes? They have to be very high up on everyones
list. Also I believe you have the best room to advance your skills to the next level.
Add in the HAWKS fans travel the best, a new facility on way, team is at the top currently and just needs a few more Studs to build another dynasty. Lets get it done Coach!!!!

Lol! I’m not gonna speak for coach , but I think ur barking up the tree if ur looking for beans to be spilled or influence to be given. Way I was raised is fathers don’t steal their kids thunder and you let them make informed decisions on their own.
Wrestling forum fan activity is the #1 deciding factor for some recruits, and for others it is funniest twitter memes. Coaching and culture are very low on the list.
I have been by my son's side for EVERY decision he has ever made. What I will tell you is that this one was probably clear to him before either of his parents. It's his choice. He owns it. I'm here to support him, love him, guide him, and keep him grounded. But whatever he picks, as long as I'm still allowed, I'll continue to be a part of this group. You people have kinda grown on me.

Hey guys! Happy New Year! I like to consider it amateur hour now that I have three kids🥴
That's too bad. I was just about to comment on how much wood I still have to split. I'm 20 minutes from Carver and was thinking maybe Arnold was needing a place to train. I might even feed him if the finished pile grows enough. Most of the current Hawkeyes have been to my place at one time or another. The ones that can split wood are my favorite.
A funny story was splitting wood with Chris Dardanes one day. I've been cutting a splitting wood since I was a kid. Chris was pretty new to it. I watched him exhaust himself trying to split a big piece of oak. I walk over and split the piece in a handful of hits(light work). The look on his face was priceless as he wondered how this fat 40 year old made it look so easy. I have a few funny story about the Dardanes. They were something else.
PSU sight already said we could have Arnold since he took 6th at Powerade.
Talk about lack of context. The above is cherry-picking one post about Arnold (among several) from a 36 page thread on the PSU site. And the post might have been in jest; not sure.
One thing that's for sure is given our 157 needs I'd be offering the whole 9 yards to Shapiro who has can't miss written all over him. Best available guy in the country IMO and biggest need weight.
