Just crazy! Blues were always going to be a tough out with the way they came into the playoffs, and they’re going to be absolutely sick after that one. Hats off to the Jets, who absolutely refused to die. Has to go down as one of the greatest series ever.
Before the playoffs started, I was just thrilled we made it there. And then to get kicked from the playoffs in this way, ugh. That thrashing call that led to their PP goal was soft as hell. But they scored 2 ****ing goals 6 on 5.

Unbelievable. Up 3-1 with two minutes left. Not sure why Buchnevich didn’t take the puck out of the Jets end with 47 seconds left to either kill clock or have a better chance to get an empty net goal since he had room to skate to center ice at the least. Instead, he iced it and the rest is history. Two misdirect goals off Blues players, first to give them a chance and cut it to 3-2 then win it with the last misdirect. 1.6 second nightmare. Ugh.
Yeah, that’s going to be Winnipeg’s “Sunday Night Miracle”. Blues fan here…tough loss, but a great series to watch.
The second goal was their killer. Up 2 - 2 minutes left, building quiet, and they get a double doink deflection that goes in.
Rest is history.
But Monty is the guy and has them playing tough. We lose some salary next year and can go get a couple pieces.
Would loved to have had Holloway for the series but I’m sure the Jets would have wanted Scheifele.

Probably the least opposing fans I’ve ever seen there. LT was awesome, and a couple of heroic d plays.
Funny side note - they projected “2025 playoffs” on the ice, but the p was sort of concealed at center ice so it looked like 2025 layoffs.

I just hope whoever wins the Capitals-Hurricanes series gets to the Final. I hate both the Leafs and Panthers.
Is it just me, or are the playoffs this year especially juicy? I’ve loved every minute of it so far except for the AVs early exit.

And I fully believe we would have given Dallas a better series than it's been so far.
I doubt that'll happen, both because his relationship with Ted is just that they both fulfill their commitments to each other, and because there's arguably "one more" record he might want to take a run at -- most total goals (reg season and playoffs). He's behind by 44.
But yeah, he was showing some wear and tear in the stretch.

Stars can thank the Blues for physically punishing the Jets in their series. Jets never recovered enough to compete with Dallas.
