Niang looks like he has cement in his moon boots

One ten page thread wasn't enough. Nope. Need to get the regular douches riled up again because ISU lost a conference road game.

I thought this thread was about the man boobs returning. It certainly looks so

He's a heck of a player. The Clones are making our bench look like the best substitutes ever. The Cyclones are tired.

You can be less fat than you used to be and still be fat.

"You're still fat"

He scored 24 on 10/16 shooting.. Not bad

The problem though is that he only took one shot in the final 11 minutes of game time and it was in overtime... I don't know what the solution is but he was hardly making it up and down the court for a while. They gotta find a way for their guys to get some rest. Niang is a very talented, tough match up but if he cant move it doesn't help. Everything pretty much ran through Nader and Morris at the end.

Absolute defensive liability. I think the Cyclones are forced into destructive zones mostly because he can't match up with anyone in man.

What are the Clones, 7-6 in conference play. NO WAY should a team with that much returning talent should have that conference record. Prohm appears to be a major step down from Hoiberg.

That was by design. They pretty much denied any entry pass to Niang and weren't going to let him touch the ball. Nader stepped up and ISU almost snuck out a good road win. Same story different day

They needed to find a way to get him the ball, unless he was just beyond tired and done for the night. If he has to get a handoff from Morris at the top, then so be it. The offense has to run through him. If it did, that game probably doesnt even get to OT.

I think they were just rolling with Nader since he was dominating at the time. I wish Niang would have gotten the ball more at the end but with the way Nader was playing it probably didn't matter. ISU lost on the other end of the court not because of their offense

A struggling team missing one of its best players isn't that good of a win. Texas Tech just crushed this team at Baylor.

Beating a top 25 team on the road is a good win regardless if Gathers is playing or not. He barely played against ISU in Ames because they knew Motley would exploit us more than Gathers would have. If Prince or Medford would have been out it would have made a bigger impact in the matchup.

You fail to realize that the Big 12 is as good and as deep as the NBA Western Conference. Its a good thing that the Warriors and the Spurs don't have to play in Ames, Waco, Norman, Lawrence, Charleston, Stillwater, Manhattan or Austin. They'd be toast.

When you run a program that relies on transfers and does not develop recruited players, you expose yourself to this type of scenario.

ISU is #13 in the AP Poll and even after last night's defensive disaster still #17 in KenPom. Whatever scenario they are in right now seems to be working alright

I just think you need to find your best player more than one shot in an 11 minute period at the end of a close game/overtime.

Before casting stones, let's remember ISU is still a top 15 team after losing one of its best players, Naz Long, to injury at the beginning of the season. Imagine how Iowa would be playing right now if Jok was lost for the season in November? Would we be a top 15 team? Would Fran be in the running for any coach of the year awards? ISU has no depth due to injury. Some things can't be controlled.

Curry would piss down his leg in Morgantown

How's the future look? Any more headcases like BDJ and McKay coming in? Take a look at Cyclone Fanatic today - all of you are "sick of McKay".

I think ISU will still be good next year at least. Return some solid pieces and bring in some good players. You couldn't pay me to go to Cyclone Fanatic within 48 hours of a loss. I really don't go over there even when things are good. McKay has been disappointing lately so I can only imagine how bad he's getting ripped over there.

Yes, the Cyclones would be toast against those teams. both the Warriors and Spurs would probably score 140 points on this defense. Who would guard Greene?

He looks like he's gaining weight during the year, he must drink a ton to put on weight while playing college basketball.
I would bet he has gained all the weight back he lost before. He just looked slow last night.

Yeah, well, just keep telling yourself this. ISU will face teams who can play and spell defense in March, which is a departure from Big 12. Whatever shred of semi-respect I had for the Clown program was gone after the postgame comments by Niang and others. Now I truly do root against Iowa State in every sport at all times.
