NLWC Open (Penn State tourney)

Unless I missed something, the guy you were responding to isn't a Gopher fan. Furthermore, if you were trying to make a point based on Dustin Schlatter's career placement and think it had nothing to do with multiple injuries, you failed miserably. And I assure you I am as far away from being a Gopher fan as one could possibly be.

Similar to another of your New York boys, Schlatter's career was derailed by injuries, much like Troy Nickerson's. These guys were shells of their former selves late in their careers. Damn shame.
Seems like he is when he posts on bwi and if injuries were completely the reason why he dropped spots on the podium every year my mistake though I don't think calling Troy a shell if himself is completely a true statement he won a national title with that shoulder injury reoccurring throughout the tournament and wrestled all the way back to a 4th place finish his senior year

Someone notes that Lee was at the NLO (nothing more), and this is the response? Must have touched a nerve ...
Many posters on BWI aren't delisional homers, so there is that. What I typed was absolutely correct, but you go on to attack the poster and not the post, regardless. Every time Lee visits Iowa or Penn State a crowd on your board belittles Iowa and insinuates that there is no way under any circumstance that he doesn't attend Penn State. Instead of calling out those people you come over here and get touchy on our board

Schlatter battled multiple injuries for years. I don't recall when Nickerson's shoulder started giving him problems, but Troy Nickerson was not a 4th place wrestler at any time in his career when healthy.

Andrew Long was and is one hell of a wrestler, and Nickerson absolutely slaughtered him, with the shoulder already wrapped. It got worse from there for Nickerson.

Nickerson lost to Fred Santaite 2-1 at NCAA's. Yes, THAT Fred Santaite..............................

I suppose the same thing could be said about Matt McDonough in his Senior year, both were monsters who got derailed due to injury.
