Would love to hear the NCAA's reason for this. Attending a session at the Milwaukee site and watching 2 full games without a cold one is pretty disappointing. Same thing when I attended the BIG Football Championship against Sparty.

And before I get the classic "you're an alcoholic" response- no, its my day off and would like to enjoy the game while drinking a beer.

The B1G Tournament in Chicago doesn't serve alcohol either, but this year in D.C. they did.

Didn't Minnesota experiment with this?? I thought there were some schools who were "trying it out" to see how it went? Maybe it was Ohio State. I remember hearing some colleges were trying it out.

If people can control themselves and maybe limit it to 2-3 per game, i would be okay with that. If it brings in extra $$$ I don't see why you wouldn't.

Correct. I went to the Iowa Minnesota football game and they served beer. I didn't see any incidents. Just sad Minnesota fan faces; ) Just grab a plastic flask and fill it with rum or captain. Buy a coke at the games and enjoy.

On one hand, you're free to want a beer while you watch back to back sessions of basketball. On the other hand, surely you can do without a $10 cup of beer flavored water. No?

Went to a Final Four in New Orleans and no fun stuff at the game there. Had a great buzz going thinking I would be able to keep it going......alas, buzz kill.

Get enough in you before the game, smuggle some in or go to a bar....
