No cords involved; it was an ISU fan who broke R Peterson's leg

During an On Iowa Podcast, it was revealed that it was indeed an ISU fan colliding with Randy Peterson, which resulted in Randy breaking his leg. Apparently Randy's leg was planted and in came an ISU fan, crashing into his leg, causing the fractures.

Randy did not trip on a cord, all by himself, as ISU fans would want you to believe.

Have you seen the video?? No ISU fan came "crashing" into him.

not according to 2 Gazette reporters; i trust them when it comes to the facts, much more than i do ISU fans

Randy's leg was planted and in came an ISU fan's leg; it was leg to leg, and down went Randy.

What Gazette reporters said that? The video shows the incident quite clearly.

All I see is an ISU fan's leg colliding w/ Randy's planted leg; Randy was just standing there until the fan ran into him; Randy then tumbles to the ground. No cords are involved. Think of how violent the collision must have been to snap two bones in his leg???

What are you seeing that no one else is?

Again, what Gazette reporter? I know that Mike Hlas wasn't one of them, because he corrected an earlier misstatement about it.

And look at the video. If anybody touched him, it was that female Hawkeye fan -- note the all-black clothing on a night that was designated "Cardinal Rules" -- who came out of the stands. And keep watching her....she isn't storming the court. She takes a few steps out, meets someone with what appears to be a camera strap on the shoulder, and they walk off the court toward the press area.

In any case, it wasn't related to the fans coming onto the court.

I am skeptical of the reference to cords, however. The people who set up the communications gear presumably are careful not to create a hazard.

it was a Morehouse/Dochterman podcast; I have emailed them both for clarification on the statements they made. Marc said Randy's leg was planted and it was a leg on leg collision and Randy's bones snapped.

And obviously not everyone was in red; there is a gal storming the court dressed in black and white

LOL.....so you assume the court side person dressed in BLACK is an Iowa fan??? Sorry, but that's a Clown fan wearing black who had the leg on leg collision, resulting in Randy's severe leg fractures.

So nobody said it was an ISU fan. That's good.

And I don't know if Marc was at the game, but Scott was clear down behind the west basket (the incident occurs on the southeast part of the court).

But YOU said it was an Iowa fan who collided with Randy based on the fact the person who broke Randy's leg was wearing black. YOUR STATEMENT WAS OBVIOUSLY FALSE. It is obvious that Clown fans were wearing other colors than red.. Clown fans were in black, white, red, etc.

Why did you make such a reckless, false statement? It is just as bad as Clown fans saying Randy tripped all on his own, on a cord, trying to make him out as some kind of klutz. You Clown fans keep making up stories, trying to avoid the TRUTH.

You must understand LC will never let facts get in the way of his argument. Never has before.

Does it really f***** matter? Leg's broke, Hawks lost, move on to next game. Discussing this further doesn't bring back a win or heals Randy's leg. Only can control what's ahead of us.

I think the real issue at hand is the fact that Randy Peterson is an ISU homer working for the DMR and slants against Iowa when given the chance, particularly when involving ISU. (And we don't like it!!)

................................Of course if that is not the real issue....then why in the actual f*** did we care to the extent that we have?

It's over....go home.

Clown fans were acting like Randy tripped on a cord and fell without being touched.

The closest person that could have even tripped him was actually a Hawk fan according to multiple people I've talked to.
Hawk fan with court side seats?

I also see a male hawk fan in black pants follow her storming on to the court as well as the female in black pants and vest race out onto the court through the free throw lane. A lot of disloyal Hawk fans celebrating with the clones.

Actually, it was a spiral fracture, which is normally caused by twisting, which would be expected if you caught in some kind of cord. If you notice in the video, Randy is already going down before the lady in a black suit even gets there. She was most likely a reporter. Also, understand that Randy was intentionally trying to outrun the students, he says so in interviews. This is not some old guy just standing on the sidelines, he was trying to sprint across the court to get to the press room ahead of the crowd, apparently just like the lady.

I agree. Randy fell or tripped on his own.

OK, so you don't understand my post. I am not surprised. Nor am I concerned.

Again LC has always been a great clown fan that makes statements and then refuses to let facts get in the way of his bogus statements.

It must be his "journalistic" instincts.

Simple logic like is is to be ignored by clown fans.

Yet you are concerned enough to keep posting on the matter. You cant even get your own facts right. Lol

Look the dude is old as dirt, probably has low bone density issues. It's not like he got ran over by a herd of cattle (though ISU girls tend to resemble that). Who cares what fan bumped into him, it was a freak accident.

Randy went on the Dan Patrick show and said a fan ran into him. He went to great lengths to be clear that he didn't think it was a student, just a regular fan. Why would he say that if he tripped on his own?

No, it doesn't matter one bit. Why is this being discussed? Even if it was a collision, it's a freaking accident. They happen everyday. Time to move on.

I think I will go with what is being reported by 2 reporters from the CR Gazette vs anonymous message board posters and the people those anonymous people have supposedly talked to.

Again, why does the word "trip" keep being brought up? Randy did not trip. Randy's leg was planted and another person's leg crashed into his. Randy did not trip suddenly on his own.

OK, so you don't understand my post. I am not surprised. Nor am I concerned.

Let's be clear. i understand every one of your lies that you have posted on here.

So you think you are the smart one and no one understands you? That's funny. Are you concerned or surprised that everyone has you figured out, especially when they say, and I quote, "You must understand LC will never let facts get in the way of his argument. Never has before."

You have 83,000 posts on here. You need a new hobby. Please understand my post and do everyone a favor and get off this board.

I'm sure we're all surprised here that you are playing that old "I am not surprised you don't understand my post" card. BAU

Yes, because he is the wise one and we are all too stupid to understand his wisdom, logic and insight.

LC is here for our benefit.

According to Lone Clone, if you were in black you were a Hawkeye fan. And when he gets caught in his lies and nonsense, he uses his "you don't understand my post. I am not surprised, nor am I concerned" card.
