So a lot of this is my thoughts and hopes. Moving forward I’d like to see some true road series @ PAC 12, SEC or ACC schools. Heller has done a great job with games against Okie State and Irvine. However to really try and pad your RPI it seems you almost have to do @Irvine x3 then follow that up with @Arizona State or the likes of that. Then add midweeks against teams like a Missouri or Creighton. Get rid of WIU. Need to add the tue-wed midweek series against a Kansas StAte too and be willing to go on the road.

Even if you play say 9 or 10 games early in the year @ top 25 teams and go say 3-7 or 3-6 You come out ahead on RPI.

I respect WIU and Coach Brownlee, but they kill our RPI win or lose.

While they aren’t true road games, I believe Iowa is playing in the new PAC-12/B1G series at US Bank next season. In addition, Iowa hosting Northridge and Irvine leads me to believe they are due for a West Coast swing next year over spring break.

That ship sailed after 2014 I think. Iowa travels to Creighton and up until 15 min before game time it says game on. Then out of the blue it’s canceled after Iowa drives to Omaha. It didn’t even end up raining anymore.

Another good idea. Iowa baseball is becoming successful, it would be nice if they start to grow the fan base with games in Iowa, but not in Iowa City. Good runs in the Big Ten tournament while it’s in Omaha would help. Also, not playing at 9 AM in Omaha.

Yeah 9am wasn’t ideal especially if you lose. All things considered there was an ok crowd there for that time on a Wednesday.

However with four games having to get in you have to have the 9am time slot. Even the year Nebby played at 9am the crowd wasn’t as big compared to other times.

I just want Iowa’s offense to show up in Omaha this year. They sucked last year.
