Northwestern vs PennSt

nu had a ridiculously bad non-con schedule. They've played a weak stretch to start the B1G season. Their next 4 games are at maryland, at indy, msu, then at the Hawks. Let's see what they look like after that.

After that stretch, I'm thinkin' the Wildcats will look like mincemeat. ;)

True I think NW is nowhere near what their record says. But I also think PSU is decent. Chambers is a pretty good coach with young talent and more on the way.

Most people on the planet disagree with you, including his own fanbase.

What is with your fetish for this guy? Did he introduce you to your wife or something?

Penn State won the local player lotto with their 2016 recruiting class. And the 2015 class wasn't bad. Chambers is going to go down as a good example of a coach one doesn't give up on if he doesn't get the job done right off the bat. Good game coach.

These of course are just my opinions.

I feel like people have been saying this for a couple years now. At some point you have to produce. Chambers gets overrated guys like Josh Reaves that are great athletes that have limited basketball skill. He couldn't do anything with Newbill and Frazier on the same team, that's underachieving in my book.

Did not see this game so I am surprised to say the least by this loss at home by NW to PSU.

That said I have always felt like Chambers is a highly underrated coach in this league. He manages next to nothing of a roster of players but gets his kids to give max effort in most games. They seem to knock off some league teams every year they have no business beating and I hate having to play out there. It's just a shame he's at such a tough school to win at in basketball. Give him a school like Indiana or OSU with a better pedigree for basketball and he would be well known.

I don't like the idea of only six Big Ten teams in the NCAA tournament. Ohio State, Wisconsin and Northwestern need to pull their act together well enough to at least get some consideration.

Of course, not against us. But common, if Illinois could beat Purdue these three stink beetles ought to be able to beat somebody!!!!

And, what the heck is Ohio State's problem? They beat Kentucky, but when they get beat they get beat by 25-35 points!!!!
