There are some folks being reasonable. Not sure if they are Notre Dame fans, but their are some folks trying to explain things to them.

Another team complaining about our schedule. ND's SOS get's worse every week that goes by. Hoping Stanford thumps them by 40. I agree the ass hats should have kept MSU, Mich, and NW on the schedule but then again they'd probably lose all 3.

ND can complain all they want, but the fact of the matter is Northerstern is better than anyone ND beat.

Will ND ever join a P5 football conference? If so who? If not why? Does being independent do them any favors in this day and age? I understand the whole Irish thing ,but fer effs sake move on from that Gipper ish.

Knowing some Nebraska fans and after seeing the obnoxious trolls that came here the last couple of weeks i'm not a fan of that program. That being said, I LOVE Nebraska compared to Notre Dame. Absolutely hate them.

Notre Dame fans pretending their schedule was tough compared to Iowa's is hilarious. It looked good on paper until the season played out.

Navy and Clemson are the two best teams on their schedule and they only beat one of them. I hope Stanford pounds them into the turf.

Stiffer punishment than what Kelly got.

I would say the way things are going this year , ND may be joining a conference some day and the b12 may be forced to have a CCG now too if they don't want to keep getting left out

Norte Dame probably realizes that joining the ACC would maybe not be the best move. The teams they played outside of Clemson from that conference were not good. I'm not sure that you would have guessed that Temple and Navy?

ND fans are not the only fans bitching about Iowa's schedule. On the way home from Nebraska I heard a OSU fan on "Mad Dog" sports show say he couldn't believe anyone would think Iowa is a better team. 1st thing he mentioned was Iowa's schedule. I think a lot of the sport announcers have brainwashed listeners to think Iowa has the worse schedule in the nation. These announcers should start comparing similar opponents and see how each team performs against them. Totally different story.

I would like to see who he considers OSU's third best win that is better than Pitt.

5. Ohio State (11-1)
If you want to argue that this really is one of the four best teams in college football, there’s no real complaining. No one would want to see the Buckeyes in the playoff, and thanks to an all-time clunker of a gameplan against Michigan State, that’s not going to be a problem.

6. Oregon (9-3)
Oregon State might have come back to make it interesting, but the Ducks are now on a six-game winning streak including back-to-back victories over the two teams – Stanford and USC – playing for the Pac-12 title next week. If by some miracle Georgia State beats Georgia Southern, nine of the last 11 teams Oregon played will end up in a bowl game.

7. Iowa (12-0)
Win three more games, and everyone will shut up. Until then, this is a very good team with a very mediocre schedule. However, the Northwestern thumping is great – that’s what’s keeping the Hawkeyes from being lower than this. An elite team’s third-best win shouldn’t be 27-24 to Pitt.

NW and Wisconsin would beat anyone on ND's schedule except maybe Clemson. NW proved that against Stanford.

Just an FYI ND SOS =19 Iowa's=62. ND has played five ranked (two in the top ten) teams won three of them. Lost the other two by two points in the last minute of the game. All while playing with a ton of injuries including playing their third string QB, third string RB. You can rag on ND all you want but you cannot say they play a soft schedule. Do you really think Iowa would be undefeated with our schedule? I think not. BTW, the ND board had a flood of Iowa trolls. You all must be proud. I'm sure they will be gone by Saturday night. Good luck with the rest of your season.

I for one would not tag on ND schedule but frankly they should not tag on ours. First, we played 3 top 25 teams at one time or another. Two of them on the road. One that is ranked 13th and drilled them by 30. Next, Iowa does not control their conference schedule. Jesus can people shut up about this already? We also don't have a bad loss, nor a lucky bad win. We haven't trailed in a game since mid October and we haven't been behind all year in the second half except for one game. Face it, if Iowa had won every game by 30 points everyone would be saying the same thing, especially those with past entitlement claims. We are Iowa. Deal with it blue bloods.

Iowa would get up by double digits like they do every game and then let ND get a late score to get it to a 1 score game and then ND would feel like they are a top 4 team....LOL...Newsflash, you aren't that good, you lost to Stanford who lost by 10 to NW who lost by 30 to Iowa...join a Power 5 conf so people can take you serious..!!

My experience with a rabid ND fan was a few years ago when the cousin of one of my friends happened to be in town and was there to watch the big ND game with all of us. Dude was screaming F bombs at the t.v. with little kids running around (two of which were mine). I stared daggers at him after telling him that little kids were around, wanted to strangle his obnoxious arse. I always think of him when ND comes up in big games.

Nobody was saying ND played a soft schedule on your board, they were just defending Iowa's schedule, and ND fans claiming they would be undefeated with it.
