Notre Dame board

Just an FYI ND SOS =19 Iowa's=62. ND has played five ranked (two in the top ten) teams won three of them. Lost the other two by two points in the last minute of the game. All while playing with a ton of injuries including playing their third string QB, third string RB. You can rag on ND all you want but you cannot say they play a soft schedule. Do you really think Iowa would be undefeated with our schedule? I think not. BTW, the ND board had a flood of Iowa trolls. You all must be proud. I'm sure they will be gone by Saturday night. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Just an FYI, the top 25 teams you beat were Navy, Temple and a 4 loss USC team who probably shouldn't even be in the top 25. ND also had trouble beating Virginia with an end of the game TD, and Boston College.

Those are some real powerhouse programs right there. ND didn't deserve to be in the top 4 at any point.

I think it is a little comical that a couple of months ago they couldn't have found Iowa on a map, now they are complaining like little children that we took their toy. Too funny. The Whining Irish

Will ND ever join a P5 football conference? If so who? If not why? Does being independent do them any favors in this day and age? I understand the whole Irish thing ,but fer effs sake move on from that Gipper ish.
The reason ND is independent is because of the B10. The B10 teams (less MSU) got together and refused to play ND back in the 20's. ND had no choice but to barn storm the nation looking for opponents. It made ND a national team, with their own network, and coast to coast fans. So as a ND fan I thank you for shutting us out.

My experience with a rabid ND fan was a few years ago when the cousin of one of my friends happened to be in town and was there to watch the big ND game with all of us. Dude was screaming F bombs at the t.v. with little kids running around (two of which were mine). I stared daggers at him after telling him that little kids were around, wanted to strangle his obnoxious arse. I always think of him when ND comes up in big games.
I'm sure there are buttheads in every fan base. I guarantee you would not see that at a ND game. ND is one of the friendliest venues to visit. I've been to over 150 home games, and been to many other stadiums. We take pride in our hospitality. I'm sure Iowa is much the same.

Norte Dame probably realizes that joining the ACC would maybe not be the best move. The teams they played outside of Clemson from that conference were not good. I'm not sure that you would have guessed that Temple and Navy?
Yes, I agree. We had to agree to play five ACC teams a year. If we went all in not only would it restrict ND from exposure, but it would dumb down our schedule. If ND is ever forced into a conference, I doubt it would be the ACC.

Who's complaining? Actually, I'm the only ND fan on this board that I saw, responding to a ND thread. Yet you can't swing a dead cat on the ND board without hitting some Iowa troll. I find that very curious since you're in the drivers seat for the playoffs and were out. Can you explain that?

Anyway, good luck on the championship. Sorry to say I'll be rooting for MSU, just because my son is a MSU fan and we have a lot more history with them. Also they are back on our schedule in 2016!

Of course you think not otherwise you be admitting that Iowa is better. You must be proud for trolling here... go join a P5 conference then come back.

Notre lame realizes if they join the big 10 they will join penn st in mediocrity

My god I hope we get them in a Bowl game (actually not because that means we would lose) but I do not like them acting like their gods gift to college football.

Well thanks for trolling our board just to say you will cheer for MSU. Mary.....damn I thought you had Stanford.....sooooo close

Notre Dame would not want the Big 10. They would get destroyed and cry and go home. They will join the ACC/Mountain West or some other weak conference.

If they can't control their schedule, they are not happy. They have to play their tough schedule "Texas, Navy, Temple, and other" I mean seriously ND you should of played Michigan, MSU, Purdue, and others?? Why don't you play those teams anymore? Oh that's right they beat you.

Can't comment about the ND board because I don't give a crap about your board, your team and your arrogant fans. I hope you lose to everyone frankly.

ND fans are not the only fans bitching about Iowa's schedule. On the way home from Nebraska I heard a OSU fan on "Mad Dog" sports show say he couldn't believe anyone would think Iowa is a better team. 1st thing he mentioned was Iowa's schedule. I think a lot of the sport announcers have brainwashed listeners to think Iowa has the worse schedule in the nation. These announcers should start comparing similar opponents and see how each team performs against them. Totally different story.
Welcome to the pathetic media in the U.S.
They do it politically too.

Just a reminder, you don't know what Iowa would have done with your schedule.
Note to you, you lost to a Stanford team who lost to NW.
We throttled NW 40-10 at their house. Get over yourself.
