Bells rang yesterday for the first time since the fire. My first memory of visiting the first time was seeing the flying buttresses in person. Something that stuck with me from some class or another in college.

I do feel like they could have left the child rape out of the story. I get that is a huge deal in catholicism but it really doesn't have anything to do with the cathedral or the fire. No reason for it.

Absolutely loved it. Life changing experience. Interacting with people from so many different countries was incredible. The Olympic spirit they talk about is truly something. Hung out with a lot of Iranians which was great, hope we don't end up trying to kill each other some day.

People that dont travel internationally miss out on a lot. Paris on its own is cool enough. Cant imagine adding the Olympics to it
