And we are #9, its not the BCS, its 2015, we're playing away and none of the current players were on the 2009 team.
We only lost that one because our QB got injured. This time our QB is already injured so no big deal. Also, we still would have won that game if not for a phantom holding penalty that called back a long TD run by Wegher.
I'm surprisingly not worried about this game. The only game I'm concerned about is Nebraska as it will probably be a de facto bowl game for them and they would love nothing more than to spoil the Hawks.
Indiana has one of the worst defenses in college football. The Hawks put up 40 against NW on the road and completely broke their will. I see no reason why they can't do the same to Indiana. Yeah, their offense is pretty solid but Iowa has shut down basically everyone on their schedule.
I'm feeling pretty confident in this one, which is pretty disconcerting because I'm normally sitting around waiting for the hammer to drop.
On 2nd thought, the Hawks are pretenders, we're going to get our asses kicked and Indiana is one of the best teams in the country.
