Now that we are merely a few days from the commencement of Shit Show Part II…

So we just received the security perimeter notice and schedule of inaugural events from our office manager here in dc. The schedule included the inaugural committee’s welcome memo package. It refers to the attendees/donors as “investors”.

No, really.

My daughter in law does event planning, based in DC. She was relieved when her company didn’t get the bid to run the inauguration. Her dad is retired Navy and very conservative, but he is appalled at the existence of Trump.

Change your pants sir, you have pissed yourself.

@RagnarLothbrok can change his username but he can't change his proclivity for drama.

LOL - Trump and his people don't deal with Molly Maids so your daughter in law had zero chance of being part of the Inauguration clean up plan.

Is the executive suppose to threaten our allies with military action if they don't sell Greenland to him?

Is the executive suppose to go around looking for mountains and bodies of water to rename to fit his ideology?

Is the executive suppose to get in fights with governors of states in a disaster and refuse to provide disaster funding.

He isn't doing the job of an executive, he's a child playing president worrying about things a child would worry about and threatening military action like it's no big deal.

He has no plan to do anything he actually promised.
It reminds me of a general back in the ‘60’s at Scott AFB. Scott was a top heavy base with many commands

He lost it and had to be “retired”. He began to think the base was his and he was in charge.
He started touring the base every day with his aids, and telling commissary workers, maintenance workers, landscapers, etc., how to do their jobs.

For us kids, it was funny, but it apparently caused a lot of problems until they could get him retired.

Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my. Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!

I think will be refreshing to hear from the POTUS more than once ever 3-4 months. If putting someone in place to actually do the things an executive is supposed to do, that's great. Look what your side "enabled" the past four years. (Isn't it strange you guys do what you bitch about what the other guy will do?)
IMHO Trump is being handled and sheltered in much the same way right now because he is majorly diminished. I don’t think we will be seeing or hearing near as much from him. The cabinet and others he surrounds himself will determine how the country does.

I think a couple gals on the internet are up to the task.
Haha. I wonder what those two are up to these days. Can’t imagine they got any sort of “real” job after that video.

Edit: thought I’d do some research. Turns out one of the girls died 3 days later from dysentery. Who knew.

Man, I stand corrected.

But we all know there are rare exceptions to the rule.
The difference to this sequel might be that he had a four year reset.

He told Rogan when he first came in, he didn’t know many of the appointments and several advisors - they were recommended by the repub leadership. As we know, there were a lot of internal infighting. I expect that to be much less this time around.

Also, with the four year reset, he will likely come in with a border policy and economic plan early in the presidency that he will use his majorities in Congress to help pass. I understand, we will disagree on whether that’s a good thing or bad thing, but I think there will be some things that will run more smoothly than the first time around.

Let me be the first anti-Trump person to say this: I want the Trump presidency to be successful. I want a secure border, greater prosperity, less government bureaucracy, less foreign aid, etc. etc.

I’m just not going to hold my breath. The guy is an idiot and lacks emotional intelligence—two traits essential to leadership.

I’m popping popcorn and waiting with anticipation for the Shit Show Part II to commence. It’s going to be fantastic entertainment.

Nothing will change that makes a major impact. Nothing ever changes that makes a major impact.
I think Trump is a turd. Yet democrats lately are an even bigger turd. Only thing republicans have over democrats is they don’t live in fairy tale land. While a large majority of democrats aren’t liberals, our president and vice president didn’t do anything so suggest they weren’t moving farther left everyday.

Heck, while we're at it can we bring back whites only water fountains? I'd also like divorce to be taboo again. If I want to beat my wife, I really don't want her yapping to some damn lawyer about it.
What positives, in the post you were replying to, do you not like?

Trump down your throat for 4 years. It's gonna be great.

Let's get to 65,000 DJIA.
Let's have real estate go up 6-8% a year for next 4 years.
Let's get those interest rates back down under 5.5%.
Let's lower the taxes for all.
Let's reduce the size of government.
Let's reduce bureaucracy and let capitalism flourish!
Let's lock down the border.
Let's bring back law and order.
Let's silence DEI frauds.
Let's stop the trans madness.
Let's get back to being a strong America.
Give me Greenland! Give me Panama canal!

Let's end a republican presidential term without starting a new recession or war. Fingers crossed! Let's end with DJIA/Unemployment/job creation better than they were at the start of the term. Also, let's not forget the primary metric of the economy which is the price of groceries. Those better be lower soon.

Cool story.

Are you kidding me? Did anyone have any experience with a world wide pandemic? As I said Trump’s economy prior to pandemic was fine and likely nobody could have done better at the on-set of a pandemic.
So the economy under Biden was not Biden’s fault. Got it. Surprised you admit that…
