NPOY Kenpom Murray watch

I think it's way too early for NPOY at this point. Keegan is special. That's not in question at all. But in order for him to earn major awards, the team is going to have success. I think Keegan is First Team all Big Ten. Depending on where Iowa finishes he has a shot at Big POY. But usually you have to be on a high level ranked team for any major awards. Realistic expectations for this team are likely middle of the BIG finish and at large NCAA bid or NIT bid. Then next year with most everyone returning probably upper tier BIG finish.

100% just fun to see and our 3 game sample size was off the charts for him.

I don’t know about that. Garza two years ago finished second, (should have won) and they were 20-11, 11-9 in the big 10. Pretty sure if Keegan continues to put up these numbers, people will notice.

It is crazy how they try to compare Keegan to other players, he is unique. Jess was the closest with Grant Hill and as a Piston fan I watched him for years. I’d go to Bulls’ games just to watch Grant. Keegan is much better than Grant at shooting and hustle. I compare him with his father. He had the benefit of having him as is father and having a twin to battle with. Dude won’t be around long.

Go watch old vids of his father playing. You talk about hustle. He and his son’s are carrying on the legacy of Chris Street. The brothers are just more refined and somehow better athletes. Their mother had to be an athlete too.

Is this watch any different then the one Hawk fans had for the football team getting in the National Championship after the first 6 games of the season....how'd that work out....it's a long season and lot's of pitfalls, but like most of you, I like what I see so far. Just want to see Iowa win against a team with a heartbeat and Keegan produce the same numbers before I predict such nonsense.

Iowa and Keegan > other teams including the 96 Bulls

Science confirmed it....

Zach Edey? Please. He's 7-4, 300 pounds but those are about his only attributes. His "skills" are pretty limited. Seriously, if you were good at basketball and had that kind of size, wouldn't you be scoring 40 or 50 points a game, hauling in 20 or more rebounds, and totally dominating everybody all the time?

Zach Edey is a huge human being, and that's about it, IMHO.

He moves well and has nice touch for how big he is.
