As long as Lewis wins I don’t care how boring it is. Star is a beast so it will take a Herculean effort.
Sloan is a wild card…I would not count him out of this match…
Looks like Penn St was very supportive and a few other programs were not.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with having one of the greatest team lineups in history.
@PAwrestling: I'm going to call you out if this is a tight match. Sloan could keep it close, lose by TF or win by Dec...the guy is unpredictable at times, but he does have the goods.

Perhaps I'm wrong but the event is only available online and not in person, right? With it essentially being a virtual event does the venue really matter minus travel reqs?
Fine, but it can also be looked at as a missed opportunity to strengthen the brand.
Woods was going to wrestle Alirez but Alirez is taking an ORS and hasn't been training folkstyle. So Woods decided against competing

I just wouldn't include the All-Star as one of those. It's an exhibition.
I mean I guess if you don't understand wrestling at all it will be considered boring. Is it likely going to be 3-1 or so something that yes but it will be intense and it will involve two guys who between them have more NCAA titles than Iowa has won in the past five years. I love Iowa and bleed black in gold but come on don't be a hater.

The majority of Lewis matches are low scoring without a lot of action.
I do understand wrestling quite well.
Their NCAA finals match in Detroit was my favorite of the night. Extremely high level on both sides. It’s a shame that it ended in rideouts over a few seconds of riding time. A champ being crowned that way is almost criminal.
Wut? That reason actually sounds kinda lame. I just assumed we were boycotting the happy fun bunch promotional spectacular. Ridiculous that they suddenly have so many guys in the event. Won’t be a coincidence that it’s back down to just a few guys again when it’s at a different venue next year. Carl is so self-serving.
Ridiculous? They have 8 in the top three of the rankings and it is at home, sort of makes sense.
Of course you are allowed to have an opinion and my opinion is that your opinion is silly. I appreciate a high scoring match as much as the next guy hell I watch Spencer Lee tech falls on youtube when I get depressed however watching two guys like Star and Lewis is always going to be interesting.
Interesting indeed. Entertaining not so much. But not unusual between 2 elite guys on the same level.
I don't need a high scoring match. I appreciate and understand all the small things done in a match looking for scoring opportunities. Maybe it's because of his past injuries but I find Lewis to be a boring wrestler. Star has tons of talent, but if he can ride, not look to turn and win the match he will do it. I realize it's a different strategy when you are facing another high level guy. To me Lewis wrestles most everyone the same way, close matches.
Lewis is the one who is more likely to make a match not so exciting, not necessarily Star.
