This request appears to stem from the Manhattan investigation into the scheme to pay Stormy Daniels for her silence, then hide the payments. I suspect we will see an epic rant on Truth very soon.

Lock him up. Hopefully for something more serious than lying about consorting with a porn star.
This actually might be one of the better cases against Trump. Michael Cohen is a poor witness, but, there are documents, and others were involved. Many people believe that pressure has been applied to Alan Weiselberg, who is currently sitting in jail for Donald Trump. Who else at Trump Org knew about the payments, and knew that Trump conspired to keep them a secret, and committed financial crimes?

At this point it is more likely the Republicans wanting prosecution since he is tracking to win the nomination and be very likely to be defeated.
The normals left in the GOP get on their knees every night and pray that some DA takes out Trump for them, that way they don't have to fight off the crazies.

The speculation from the news tonight I saw was that this "invitation" usually precedes an indictment.

We shall see, said the blind man.

He’ll just ignore it, and nothing will happen.
This is a grand jury proceeding. He is not being compelled to appear, he was asked to appear. Probably because he is the target of the investigation.

Is there anyone on this board who genuinely believes he didn’t raw-dog Stormy Horseface?

It's certainly interesting to see the ongoing developments in the investigation into hush money payments made on behalf of Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. The invitation to appear before a grand jury is a significant development, and it will be interesting to see what information, if any, is revealed through Trump's testimony. I'll be waiting for the updates at politiq.net. Let me know what you think about this situation.
