Why not? He didn’t drop the perfectly thrown ball on 3rd and 2. Is he perfect…nope. But what I saw today is a hell of an upgrade from what we’ve had. An emphasis on the passing game this off season under Lester should do wonders for the offense.

We still lack WR. I don’t think any of our WR play at Missouri…they were running out their #6, 7, and 8 guys. Their scheme and talent are just bettter at this point.

He played as well in the first half as I have seen an Iowa QB play. They changed the offense after he took that shot on the goal line and they went 100% run after the almost INT where he got hit late. Ferentz absolutely dictated the offense in the second half.

I thought the same. Actually, there were two shots on him, and both times as he got up, I kept thinking someone needs to check him.
