In 3rd quarter there was an odd interaction between Caitlin and the gray-haired referee. She was shooting 2 free throws--missed the first. As she waited for the ref to throw her the ball, he held onto the ball, looking at her. She finally raised her hands up motioning to the ref to throw her the ball. She made the 2nd free throw and then again raised her hands at the same referee. She seemed to be asking him "What the hell!" This was an odd sequence. Was referee trying to "ice" her. I think it was at the 8- or 9-minute mark of the 3rd quarter.

Again, probably not intentional but these women's refs are so bad. So so bad. There is nobody better stepping up though.

I wasn’t at the game, but it seemed he spent a lot of time visiting with the OSU coach and called very few fouls on OSU in the 2nd half.
When OSU started the press in the 3rd quarter, the physical guarding got them back in it imho.
He tried to OSU back in the game, but their outside shooting was pathetic, and Iowa made it hard to get inside. Good coaching by Bluder.
Ohio St spent a lot of energy doing that and ran out of steam in the fourth quarter.

She also had someone from the crowd say something that made her turn and look. Right before a timeout, she smiled, something back and made a gesture as well. It was odd. It must have been something pretty bad from the fan to ilicite a response from her. We all know there can be some real sewer mouths at games.
She's definitely got a little edge to her sometimes... I like it

I saw her clap rather emphatically towards that direction at one point as well.
She can certainly do what she wants but it shows others that she does get “bothered” by heckling and will react.
