Brewers are signing Hoskins 2 yrs 34 million. Opt out after one year is possible. Really good fit. Heard rumors of possible talks with Freddy P and Adames about extension this spring. Will be interesting to see of the prospects who breaks camp. Gasser, Black, and of course Chourino all strong candidates. Possibly one more decent move to build roster. Wiermer and Mitchell seem redundant. @Joes Place and @wausauhawk

So how were your seats?

Big hole in the pitching lineup w/o Woodruff...
Woodruff wasn’t there almost the entire year. So not as big as u think. The keys could be Gasser and Ashby. Ross if healthy is a serviceable 4th slot dude. And Miley will give u decent stuff when not on the IL with a hangnail. Rea will eat inngs and not burn the bullpen.

Gary Sanchez deal finally went through. Question about his wrist. Evidently fractured it last September. Got him knocked down from 7 million guarantee to 3 million guaranteed. Plus up to 4 million in incentives if remains healthy. Also Woodruff resigned 2 yrs plus an option. Guessing it’s low base this year while he rehabs. Then escalates the following two if healthy. Kinda surprised must feel good enough about his medical that he has a chance to be effective.
Frelick is getting reps at 3rd and 2nd. Would be nice if he displaced Turang and gave them more flexibility in the OF. Still would like another SP. The guy I wanted Ryu went back to Korea for 12.5 million. Can’t blame him. Jordan Montgomery would be a perfect fit on a pillow deal. But guessing the bidding on that starts at 30 million.

Frelick starting at 3rd again. Appears team is serious about giving him a shot there.
