****Official Elite 8 Thread****

9 teams invited, including two #1s and two #2s.
1 team in the S16.
1 (same) team in E8.
0 teams in the F4.

That's the textbook definition of a conference flame-out in the NCAA Tournament.

Great, I want to see more of Bob Marley from Cedar Rapids. Was going to cheer for Michigan but changed my mind right away when I saw Tyger Campbell. Stir it up!

You might be right. I had to look, holy shit Zaga is tall. Suggs is the shortest at 6'3. Ayayi is 6'4 or so

Yeah, Nembhard is way to physical.

It really doesn't matter who they put on who they have no shot to defend the zags. Its one big mismatch all around.

Michigan played so tight in this game you couldn't have pulled a needle out of their ass with a tractor!
Score 49 you lose. It appeared like they wanted to get Wagner some redemption for his airball. He was poor in this game, as were most of the Wolverines. 49 points is bad, the UCLA Defense isn't THAT good. Pure clunker, welcome to the club!

He hit the rim on that one.
Yeah, the shot was so off I was hoping for the improbable bank shot as it was going towards the rim. A tough shot no less, but it seemed Michigan really had no good options for someone stroking a clutch three last nite. Or making a 2 foot shot in the waning minutes for that matter! 😉

Can we just skip to Baylor Gonzaga?

Houston and ucla? Give me fvcking break. Two teams that should have lost Rutgers and MSU.

Ucla will not even be competitive with the zags for 5 minutes.

Agreed ... hope it's Baylor - Gonzaga on Monday night.

Houston and UCLA ... 1968 ... Game of the Century ... Elvin Hayes vs Lew Alcindor. Old guy memories!
