*****Official Iowa vs TCU for the Emerald Coast Classic tourney win game thread*****

Before anyone asks ... lol ... I have this page bookmarked for tonight's Stream. Last night the video quality was awesome and the announcers were dreadful
The voice and video were not synched for some of the broadcast. Of course the announcers weren't on screen so you couldn't tell with them. But for the studio cutaways it was really obvious.

Makes me appreciate the B1G and ESPN broadcasts.

Isn't Miles commiting a foul by grabbing the defender's arm in this picture? Hmmm...
Dude, that is tame as hell compared to some of the stuff the refs let TCU get away with last night. Freaking rugby match at times.

Let's also hope the Hawks (& TCU) do their best to avoid any kind of clock situations tonight as well, so Lappas can't try and direct the outcome of the play & game again.

Please and Thank You.

TCU's starting 4 is out tonight.

Read somewhere else that TCU is going to be without its two best players tonight...

Anyone heard if Miles is out, too? Hugely good news for Iowa's chances, if true.

Miles played last night.

From ESPN:

Mike Miles Jr. scored 23 points and matched a career best with nine rebounds, and TCU beat winless California 59-48 on Friday night to move on to the Emerald Coast Classic championship game.

Miles, the Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year, returned after missing the last two games due to a left foot injury. He was 9 of 20 from the floor and has scored 10 or more points in eight-straight games yet ended a string of 10 games with at least one 3-pointer.

Also, TCU senior guard Damion Baugh is serving a 6-game suspension imposed by the NCAA for signing with an NBA-certified agent after last season. Baugh started 30 of his 31 games last season. Baugh will be eligible to return Nov. 30 against Providence.

Its Miller and Baugh who are out tonight, according to Bobby Hansen. Who called those two "TCU's best players".

Bobby needs to brush up on his homework, as Miles is TCU's best player by a large margin. Pretty sure they said last night that he was the preseason pick for B12 PotY.
