I have some decisions to make next week as it relates to RSW bets, conference champion bets, etc. The calculator will be getting a workout!

I'm actually in a decent position, as far as RSW bets, to get money back. I jumped on a lot of straight numbers without the hook.

I had MSU Over 5 wins and Rutgers Under 6 wins, so for max profit, I need Sparty to win at home to become bowl eligible. A Rutgers win means I at least get my money back on the MSU Over.

Also, I placed a fan hedge on Iowa Under 8 wins before the season, so for it to come down to the Nebraska game means I can place some money on the Huskers in case those bastards decide to try hard and spoil our Senior Day game.

What's everyone feeling for tonight? Both teams have looked better as of late. Kinda leaning Rams +2.5.

To complicate things with aTm, I have bets on Georgia and Texas to win the SEC at +190 and +250 respectively. The Aggies really mucked things up yesterday. The math on this is going to be interesting.

As far as Iowa goes, I just want to minimalize my losses. I don’t THINK we lose at home, as Nebraska beat a Wisconsin team that is dead men walking and that result doesn’t impress me much. But, I didn’t think we would lose at home to an interim coach a few years ago either, so…

As I write this out and think about it, I’m 5-3 on what’s settled, the safe/smart way to look at these is don’t allow myself to go 5-7. Just hedge on all of them to ensure even money or as close to it as possible. The fact that Nebraska ML is plus money, and I got Iowa O8 at +110, I’m profiting a tiny amount either way. Sweet! All other games are short lines and maybe I round robin the ML favorites by two? Hmmm…

Hit another parlay on SNF. Ended up 5 units on the day.

MNF:
Herbert 250+ passing yards/Jackson 40+rushing yards +166
Dissley O42.5 -110

And then threw half unit on each to team score a TD and FG in each half at +1300.

Yeah, their totals would be somewhere in the 155 range and they would crush it most of the time.

This year’s team is better defensively (relatively speaking) worse offensively, and the pace just isn’t quite there. They should be obliterating some of these OOC teams, and they just aren’t. Maybe they will at some point?

4th down decision making is absolutely bonkers. I’m sticking with my theory:

Analytics was introduced into football by Vegas as a way to increase variance.
