I think Auburn and Duke are on a slightly different level right now. One thing I do feel strongly about enough to proclaim it in writing: ignore conference tournaments.
You mean ignore when making ncaa bets/filling out brackets, not ignore gambling-wise?
I mean for brackets/tourney bets. I think some coaches are OK with losing early in their conference tourney to get rest for the real tourney. It’s anecdotal, but I’ve noticed very little correlation between conf. tourney success and NCAA tourney success.
Agree about Illinois, but I don’t want to get stuck losing my bet and Hawks lose. My only play on CBB so far was Florida-6.5 🤮. Sprinkled a bit on a Luka trip-dub. Might bet the Bama under.
I’m going to keep tabs on that one for sure. If I can shave a few points, I’ll jump in. They are a solid team. Perkins fits well there, and I think they have a good shot at a deep tournament run.

I know we’re 6 months out, but BetRivers has Utah at +1800 to win the Big 12. Their QB situation was a shitshow last year, but I still think they’re the most physical team in that league and getting Devon Dampier from New Mexico (and his OC) will make the Utes really damn tough. They’re too good a program to be down for long.
