Holy shit, talk about swallowing the whistle. That was like four turnovers in one.

He dribbled to the SD bench. Picks up his dribble to shoot. Lost the ball going up (not touched by Bohannon). Comes down with the ball. Dribbled once and then takes two steps for a floater.

I've got to give the ref the benefit of the doubt (poor camera angle) and hope Bohannon knocked the ball out of his hand.

Jok was excellent. Moss shot great. Bohannon played a great floor game and scored. It was sloppy, but not unexpected under the circumstances. I think the Hawkeyes bring their A game on Sunday and take it out on TCU.

I only saw the second half as I went to the Rice/San Francisco game. The experimental rules were interesting. The scoreboard operator(a former coworker) let me read them(from the NCAA postseason manual). Once during a timeout or a dead ball the officials(I believe they were Southland officials) had to come over to the bench and read the handout. My friend had to reset the team fouls back to 5 as at one point it was 7. In normal rules once they hit 10 they never add to it on the scoreboard. Now its five. It will be interesting to see if the NCAA makes this a rule change next year. Rice's clock and scoreboard operators have been doing it a long time. One of them was the clock operator in the first MS game I officiated in 1982
