Choke o potomus...

I was waiting to be pissed expecting a brick there because Frazier can't ever miss when playing Iowa, but he hit that one too.

And it was kinda tough, a hard stop and turn but nailed it.

And way to make me hate you even more, Illwhini.

*!!

Oh well, BTT 5-seed still very much in play.

As bad as Illinois looked tonight - aside from the first 8 and last 3 minutes - they'll look like they could go toe-to-toe with NBA Playoff teams on the evening of March 6.

I have no idea on who wins the B1G tournament. It could be any of 5 or 6 teams. Most balanced the conference has been in years

A big ask, but if ALL of the Top 9 teams play up to their potential in every game they are in, the vast majority of this season's BTT will be absolutely wild and nearly every game from the start of Thursday - save for the 5 vs 12/13 winner & 6 vs 11/14 winner - through the CG on Sunday would go down to the wire (along with a couple OT games, probably).

BTT is important for Iowa this year. Get a couple wins there and your strength of schedule improves tremendously.
Honestly, thanks to playing in the B1G, the SOS isn't the "problem" for Iowa. Its only having one Quad1 win (so far), that makes their resume not as 'pretty' as we'd like.

Wouldn't there be quad 1 wins available at the BTT? Can't remember what constitutes a quad 1. Does neutral court?

Edit: looks like a win over a 1-50 RPI in the BTT would be a quad 1 win. So lots of opportunity available if they play well.

Does kofi have any offensive moves other then out muscling guys?
No, which is one of many reasons his name being mentioned for POY is ludicrous. He's a pretty good rugby player, but his basketball "skills" are limited to being a barn with legs that camps out in the lane. Kofi is not in the same class of athlete as Keegan and the other POY candidates. Not . . . even . . . close.

BTW: He ended up fouling out with 12 points. As I've noted in other posts, if basketball rules were even slightly enforced, Kofi would foul out of every game within 10 minutes.
