If we can squeeze out a W here we’ll be in serious contention for a 4-5 seed. How incredible would it to be to potentially have 2 games we’ll be favored in to make the sweet 16?

The Carver crowd should be rockin'. This team once again proved it deserves every vocal chord it can get. The Hawkeyes and their fans have to keep holding serve in Carver, and with ESPN on hand, well, so much the better.
That can't be...Quad City papers, Times and the Daily Dispatch says it's on BTN...On the other hand DirecTV has it on ESPN at 6pm on Thursday.

I'm still trying to figure out how we pulled out a win against Minny, but a little home cooking would sure be great. I expect another grinder, and we need Luka to spend more time on the floor than Kaleb Wesson.
Scary game for the Hawks. Going the have to have Joe T, Bakari and Connor turn the corner and get into the paint more often. Score or dish instead of turning it over and of course we will have to rebound much better. ESPN from what I can find.

Actually the Buckeyes match up very well against the Hawks unfortunately.
- Their bigs play well inside
- They are a very good three point shooting team, our perimeter defense has been suspects at times
- They have very good athletes
- Remember, they were ranked #2 early, had a mid-season swoon but have won 5 of their last 6
To win, our perimeter defense needs to step up, our bigs need to win on the boards and Joe needs a much better offensive game. Oh yea, Luka needs to be Luka.
Our (OSU) 3rd point shooting is very sporadic. We need to keep the game in the 60s to low 70s to win. Defense is the strong suit of this team. Wesson needs to stay out of foul trouble and we need to keep our turnovers to a minimum. I never thought we were a top 5-10 team even when we were ranked #2 in the polls.
Looking at some stats we are nearly even with OSU in every important category. I expect a down to the wire game. I hope CHA is loud and rockin'. We need to minimize mistakes and force OSU to turn over the ball. Should be one heck of a great game.
