The board was considering whether or not to suspend Meyer at all or for multiple games, not if he should be fired. Shocking.
And the overwhelming majority of their fans are pissed he wasn’t just reinstated, with an apology and a $1M bonus for the inconvenience.
I think it's going to be great when he leaves OSU after this season or next, whatever it ends up being. OSU fans lose their idol, OSU's board looks like clowns for selling their soul for one year, and Meyer looks like the adolescent child he is. Wins all around.
Jeffrey Wadsworth is my new hero. There aren't many more prestigious honors than being a Trustee at Ohio State, and the dude gave it up for integrity. Well done, my man!

If you saw any of the coverage when they went into the room, they were all laughing and cutting up, like they were planning a picnic or parade for the school. Not suprized, that they appeared to have no interest in the perception nationally. After all, "We dot the I here", "We are THE Ohio State University". A pox all on all their houses......
