34 - 6 Okie State losing to Old Miss. Stanford definitely belonged in the championship playoff with the poor showing of the Big 12 heavyweights. Houston should have been in ahead of MSU in hindsight.

Agree, Stanford should have been in. Big 12 and Big 10 didn't belong this year. Well, I guess at least Oklahoma led at half. Baylor and Ohio State both looked good though.
Herbstreit put it perfectly at halftime of the Rose Bowl when he said it looked like a Pop Warner football game where one kid never gets tackled because he's so much better than every one else on the field. I still think Iowa is a strong CFP contender next year.

Lots of blowouts this bowl season. Seems like quite a bit more than usual. Bama destroys MSU, Stanford takes the Hawks out behind the woodshed, Ole Miss killing Okie State, Michigan blows out Florida, Tennessee beats up on NW, Clemson breezes past OU, tOSU beats ND easily (although he score looked closer than the game actually was, IMO), etc. Not many close ones this bowl season. Unfortunate -- doesn't make for great TV.
