Old Hawkeye fan here – I have no other forum but this one to thank this incredible football team! Truly truly been a great season for you. I am as disappointed as the team in the outcome of the Championship game, but this I know, this year’s team never possessed Iowa’s greatest offense, Iowa’s greatest defense, or Iowa’s greatest special teams, but it DOES possess the greatest heart, the greatest desire, and the greatest will to win of any Hawkeye team I’ve witnessed in my 60 years! Despite being “out starred” in many games and disrespected throughout the year by the media you simply outfought your opponents week after week including Michigan State. Thank-You for a perfect season in my eyes! I salute Iowa’s coaches and players, continue your fight and focus, HAWKEYES!! GO WIN THE ROSE BOWL!
