Iowa Gymnastics kicked off their season with a ranked win last week, besting #21 Washington. The Hawkeyes were led by All-American Adeline Kenlin, who picked up event wins on the beam, floor, and all-around. Karina Munoz won the remaining events, vault and bars, to complete the evening sweep for the Hawkeyes. Iowa received some tough news to start the week with the announcement that superstar JerQuavia Henderson would be stepping away from the team, but the Hawkeyes look strong in their first meet of the year.

Elsewhere, The Hawkeyes picked up double-digit event wins in Track and Field, won against Illinois in Swimming and Diving, and saw their first-ever player selected in the NWSL draft when Racing Louisville selected Sam Carey.
