Iowa soccer came into the 2024 season with high expectations. Coming off a Big Ten Championship, the Hawks were ranked in the preseason coaches poll for the first time, coming in at #25. So far, they've more than lived up to them. The Hawkeyes are 3-0-2 through their first five matches, including a win over #18 Wake Forest and a draw with #12 Texas. Goalie Macy Enneking has already earned Big Ten Goalie of the Week honors and freshman Berit Parten is leading the team in scoring.

Elsewhere, a young Hawkeye field hockey team split their first matches of the season, beating #18 Wake Forest and falling to #2 North Carolina. The group lost many key contributors from last season's team but is still ranked in the top ten and looks to have strong potential for the 2024 season.

Iowa volleyball also kicked off their season with a pair of wins and Hawkeye cross country hosted their season-opening meet. You can follow along with all things Hawkeye Olympic sports here.
