Hawkeye soccer beat Bucknell 2-0 in their first-round NCAA tournament match last Friday, continuing an incredible postseason run. The Hawks set a school attendance record hosting their first-ever NCAA tournament game and the team didn't disappoint. Iowa controlled the game from the opening kick, dominating possession and peppering Bucknell with 25 shots in regulation. The Bison defense stood tall, forcing the game into overtime, but Hawkeye Josie Durr broke the match open with a goal early in the first Overtime period. The Hawkeyes added a second on the counterattack as Bucknell pushed for an equalizer, securing the win and a trip to the second round.

It's been an amazing few weeks for Hawkeye soccer, winning the conference tournament and hosting their first NCAA match. Now, they'll travel to Clemson to take on 4th-seeded Georgia on Friday (1:00, ESPN+).
