So...who do you think gets to play there this year? Lots of Midwest schools that will be vying for that host site.

Kansas

Wisky is kind of stuck in the middle because I think the other Midwest site is Columbus, OH.

Unless Kansas or Wisconsin falls from a 2 seed it'll be them.

UNI & ISU will get leftover sites (I see Louisville in a lot of mocks), Iowa will have no geographical component whatsoever.

just checked the brackets and IA is a 7 seed in Omaha same bracket as Kansas, as for 2nd round matchups. as Kansas is the #2 seed, MD is a 3 seed in the same region so IA could face Kansas to go to the sweet 16 then MD to go to the Elite 8. Virginia is the #1 seed in that region. could be a good place to be seeding wise and region wise. on a side note UNI is the 4 seed in that region.

the East region is a good region for potential matchups.
