Once again looking uncoached, unprepared, unmotivated and uninspired in a bowl game!

BC is pretty good. Sometimes its about the other team.

You're right. The game plan so far has been riveting and innovative. It's absolutely about BC's juggernaut of a football team with all of those excellent back ups not missing a beat. Clearly, Iowa should just tip their cap and pick up their participation trophy now. BC is just too good. Iowa isn't good enough to compete. The coaches have done everything they can to make adjustments and put the players in the best position to win. Uncle!

Pretty sure anyone will look pretty good when the QB has all day in the pocket and finds wide open guys in the middle of the field. But right, that has nothing to do with our coaching.

Hence my holding comments. But I don't do that. Things are equaling out.

1st half=yes
Tough playing conditions, neither team game planned for playing on an ice field.

2nd half= no. Give the coaches/players credit, they wanted it more and went out and took it.

When its 11 Degrees, you need facking execution, our O line was getting man handled in the first half. Offense looked better in second half. Defense and Specials Obviously Won this game.

Isn't there some crow to be eaten by the OP?
It's really funny to see what fans bitch about in the first half... and what they observe, turns out to be the recipe for victory Fans are not as dumb as some here would like to insinuate. It wasn't until Iowa got some semblance of a pass rush that the game turned. BoBower graduated today... so I'm pretty damn happy!

Funny thing is, Iowa got “lucky” in the first half and were down by 7. In the second half, the Hawks took over. The better team won.

People use the word "embarrassing" a lot on this message board

Somebody tried to say I should be embarrassed about Iowa's performance once. I looked at the guy and said "why? I wasn't on the field...."

Some people seem to hang their personal self worth on the performance of strangers. WTF is up with that?

You would be lucky to have a son as talented and hard working as Bo, what parent wouldn’t be proud to say their son started and played at a high level, and stayed healthy, in the Big Ten conference. Complete, pathetic, statement to make after a proud group of guys played with their teammates and won a bowl game, last game, of their careers

Did you notice who was running behind the TE on the long pass plays after losing coverage? And it's happened multiple times in his career. I'm not questioning his effort, but he just doesn't possess the talent to cover athletic guys.

Sorry that you don't agree with me.

Why the hell not? Don't they know what the weather is like in late December in NYC?! Did Iowa have any outdoor practices before the game, or were they in the cushy confines of the indoor practice facility?

Some coaches used to believe you needed to practice in the conditions you expected to play in.

Yes, they practiced outside during bowl prep

I'm sure they practiced in cold weather.

I'm also sure they didn't have any practices at the local ice skating rink.

You expect it to be cold, you don't expect the field to be a sheet of ice.

.....And yet, another Hawkeye victory

Bring a freakin’ blitz every now and then!! That’s just one of the 25 problems with this team and coaching staff during this game. Embarrassing. Will need s complete U-turn in the second half to ein this one.
Sorry, but you do sound like ricky here :)

The D is in NO WAY the reason for another avg season......
