It's one thing to lose to a good team. It's another thing to lose to a crap team. All Toussaint had to do was make one of two ft's and ot doesn't even happen

They were bad all night. Awful first half. Made some shots in the 2nd half, but still doing stupid shit and missing FTs. Got what they deserved
His last 6 were 5-6 towards the end of regulation.
Honestly, they just needed to foul at the end of regulation and not let Minny hit a 3. On Fran.
Minnesota is not a good team. This loss will not look good for Iowa.

Left Johnson open from 3 all game and like any good player will do on occasion, he buried it time after time after time. Our inability to defend the hot hand is mind boggling and will lead to more inexplicable losses this year.

Illini did blow them out. Minny is not a crap team...if that johnson can make 9 3pt shots a game, the'yd have quite a team. Most teams won't sit back in a zone and have 6'3 guard Fredrick have to run out and try to influence the shot of a guy 6'8.
Wasn't surprising to see Carr go off...only guy on in top 9 that can guard him is JoeT.
The starting lineup Fran is going with and used in OT is not good enough on defense to win a B1G title.
Look at some of their ealry wins. They barely got by no name teams. This loss will not age well.

It could be worse. I missed the entire game as I was dry heaving at my parents house for hours on end.
When we end the season with 12 losses we’ll just keep repeating that message. Additionally, our garbage defense will allow record breaking 3pt performances from average players on average teams.

You should change your name to win or lose with humility.
These losses happen to top teams every single year. Upsets bigger than losing to an 8-1 team that will end slightly below average in the conference.
How can a Minnesota team who lost their star center last year beat the best Iowa team in 20 plus years? They would have killed us if they had that center back. Shameful
