You do realize it's not our defense as much as it is our scheme. Yes, we give up 3 balls a lot, but it's because we play zone defense. I don't care how good of a defensive team you are, the way to break a zone is to shoot well from outside. So when teams exploit that, we are going to have some issues. Good shooters will play us close. We cannot match up man to man with how slow our guards are. Pick your poison.

There was plenty of blame to go around.
Typical poor defense and inability to identify a hot shooter. Complacency in going after loose balls. Missing far too many easy shots from the beginning to end of the game.
Positives? Few turnovers, better rebounding.
All the team had to do was not give up 64 goddamn points after half. Or just foul before they can hit a 3 in the end. Fran sucks ass at half his job. It's on him. We would have lost in regulation without Joe T's spark
That was a team loss. Not one person. Not one coach. They all should own it. We have a very good team with potential beyond that but consistency is not a word associated with the team. I hope they are pissed but I hope they play pissed every game the rest of the season like they have something to prove. It just feels like a conference season of play two games really well and then dump a game we shouldn’t. We have played 4 tourney caliber teams and we are 2-2. Love to see a bit of a run.
