Open Mat pre-season individual rankings

Grothus is ranked but they have him listed as Iowa State. I don't have any major issues with where they have our guys

Cruz is an interesting one. I disagree with Flo alot on this. AA two years ago but looking at what he did last year was very unimpressive. Being these are pre-season I will let him work his way in. Grey where does he fit? He wont be the guy at 133 so does that mean he will win the spot or be great at 141? Again a wait and see approach. Claxton will work his way in.

I see Meyer in the 7-10 range and Brooks in the 5-7 range. So yeah, I agree with the OP here.

Minnesota will be pretty young this year and yes I think will take a step back, but I also think they have some guys step up and surprise some. If they can manage a top 8 finish this year that would be a win for them. At this point I only see them with three real threats at AA at 125 (based on how he did by the end of the year, but he is an outsider looking in at the podium) 197 Pfarr should be in the hunt for AA and so should 285 Kroells. Looking forward to Kroells vs. Stoll this year.

You don't think Thorn is a threat? Don't let Jammen hear that

I like Thorn but as of right now? No I do not. Everyone always says I am a homer lol... I must be losing my edge
