OSU Mike Gundy under fire for intimidating reporters

Its "intimidating" to not talk about something?

Your headline makes it sound like he threatened to beat people up.
He threatened to restrict access to players so yes he threatened, just not physical violence.

did you read the article? It went well beyond 'not talking about something'. considering how much coaches make these days, they sure are fragile and try to hide from discussing uncomfortable situations.

Lol, the media loves insinuations about public figures. They don't do the investigative work, they will publish a story without checking both sides. They have lost the right to be called investigative inquiries because quite frankly they don't do the work.

Until the media does their job correctly, I have no problem with them being belittled. They are more concerned with being self-entitled aholes. Flame away. If you can't take some coach with the ability and responsibility of "scheming for third and fives" not answering your questions after you called him a scumbag then quit.

I love how the report has to bring in other cases like a young man dying at Maryland to justify their disgust at a coach "intimidating" people not to talk about a player transfer.

You might as well compare our current president to a leader responsible for mass genocide.

Journalists are quickly becoming the new snowflakes. Few do their job well, they feel entitled and they can't handle the slightest bit ot criticism before quickly becoming the "victim".

Yep, and it's all about the exposure and getting their name out there. Personally, I'm tired of almost all of them. If I'm a coach, I'd tell them they'll get information when I'm ready to release it to them.

This is todays media no matter what the subject is. If it's something against their desire, you are the problem. The media is the entitled ones these days. Can you imagine the articles today if Hayden Fry was coaching? He would have been fired in this PC climate and fragile media.

Another person that either didn't read or has zero comprehension skills.
No need to read the article. This is a statement about reporters in general and It does not mention the article. While one can assume the post is about the article, their is no indication of such in what was posted. Perhaps someone should check their own comprehension skills. Words do have meaning.

Kirk Ferentz doesn't allow the media to talk to freshman. I say we renamed Kirk the Intimidator!

Aren’t both parties being too sensitive? Since when did questions and answers amongst adults become grounds for banning and/or writing stories about it?

Mostly agree with this but in this instance Gundy is wrong.

The amount of money they make is exactly why they're so sensitive and threatened by anyone attacking their gravy train.

Most coaches are bullies. Most. Grown men that never grew up. Posers that live by cliches and coach speak. Screaming maniac psychos. Put them in any other industry, any other planet and you’d say to yourself yourself “wtf is wrong with this person?”. Society values sports, so maniacs are acceptable.

I got a paragraph in before realizing this article was going to be another shit piece of writing and stopped wasting my time
