OSU women beat Nebraska 80-47 tonight.

Possibly, but deep down they have to know that CC is the main reason they're the talk and are on top of the CWB world. 10 to 15 years from now, when I hear Iowa WB, I'll immediately think of C. Clark

One would think, but sometimes jealousy rears its ugly head. It's not always easy to coexist with a superstar.

What bugs me (as a casual outside observer of WBB) is this Iowa team seems to be plateauing now (2 losses with comfortable leads and losing leads in other games) whereas OSU is seems to be picking up steam.

tOSU is hardly chopped liver. Many folks had them picked to win the B10 this season. Lady Hawks definitely let one get away in Columbus but as mentioned, tOSU is talented and phusical….and those teams give UIowa problems.

Not surprised, OSU is a much better all around team than Iowa

Mar 3rd. Iowa City. We will see how much better OSU is than Iowa. Iowa will kick their ass. Iowa had a 15 point second half lead at OSU. I will take a straight up bet for any amount on that game if you are willing? Any amount.

General Tso if there's one thing I've learned, it's that Lisa Bluder is the best there is in having her teams peak in late February most of the time. Look at last year.. we got trucked by Maryland in mid-February and made the title game. People are discussing our depth... we look a LOT deeper with Molly Davis healthy. No way Nebraska gets us if she was healthy but that's basketball. We get a week off and then we'll see where we're at.

So we beat South Carolina last year with our depth? They had more All-Americans sitting on their bench than we've had come through Iowa City in 10 years.

LSU's depth in the Championship game amounted to Jasmine Carson going off on 7-8 FG, 5-6 from 3. Poa and Smith were the other two subs, combining for 8 points.
yes the benches are usually shortened in big games, and the tourney is not a bunch of games with no rest. 2 games in 3 days, a week off. 2 games in 3 days, a week off etc.

Two of OSU's three losses this year were to Pac-12 teams;

-Southern Cal beat the Buckeyes 83-74 on a neutral court led by a true freshman guard who dropped 32 points on their suffocating defense, Marshall put up an 18/17 double/double, they out rebounded the Buckeyes by 15, and shut McMahon down (7 points).

-UCLA went into Columbus and beat the Buckeyes 77-71, out rebounded them by 10, and shut McMahon down (7 points).

Southern Cal shot 5-21 on 3's, UCLA 4-20 on 3's, Sheldon and Thierry scored over half of OSU's points in both games.

OSU goes as McMahon goes, the two teams sitting tied for 4th place in the Pac-12 have it figured out. I'll take the Hawks in a rematch.
Tbf, I'm not impressed with McMahon when she isn't allowed to plow over players. I've seen her in single digits plenty of times this year because of it.
