It's kind of funny how college baseball starts before pitchers and catchers report for spring training.

Source please, because what I'm reading doesn't say that for 2013-14 ir 2014-15 in baseball recruiting?
And where do you get this ridiculous idea that nobody comes to iowa to play football because we don't have beaches or mountains? What team is getting recruits because of their mountains? Colorado? Wyoming? How many beaches are there in South Bend, Indiana? In Columbus, Ohio? In Tuscaloosa, Alabama? You are without a doubt the stupidest f*cker that has ever walked the face of the earth (or at least a 4*, lmao). I don't know what service it was, but Iowa did have the #1 class in the conference.
Also, being #1 in the B1G rarely requires beaches, mountains and such. I get the point but...yeah. #1 in the B1G probably means top 50 nationally? Still losing to beaches, mountains, and warmth.
All that said, I'm excited about the future of baseball. Iowa is making an effort to succeed.

Heller does bring excitement, and the university is putting money into the facilities. I am booked to take the family to Iowa City to see the Hawks take on Nebby and then catch the spring game. At this point I am more excited to watch Hawkeye baseball!

like wrestling there are a lot of top talent in Base Ball in the state of IA, also ISU does not have a Base Ball program anymore, nor does UNI and Heller was the coach at UNI before they shut their Base Ball program down,
this means that Heller has the state talent to himself, barring outside schools that come in. that is a big difference between what Heller can and will do, he already had the connections in state by being the coach at UNI, this was a very good hire by Barta.
1st season by Heller 30 win season 1st BT tourney since 2010, and this years team returns the majority of that team.
I wish they would set up a sports board to cover the Baseball team, Wrestling team and any other sport worth talking about

No, he's a level above coachy actually. Coachy was always just here for the most part to be a mega troll. This guy has serious issues. I'm not sure what his deal is, but he's got a lot of anger and frustration built up and he's clearly sexually frustrated.

That's an excellent question that I have asked numerous times. I've posted the rules many times showing that myself and about half the posters on here should be banned. But there are no moderator's.
