OT: Bo Boroski - Retired Ref

I was just thinking the other day I hadn’t seen Bo do any Iowa games. Come to find out he’s retired at age 47. Couple quotes from McCaffery in here. Good reminder that the refs and coaches largely respect each other and get along even though every fan base thinks there’s a ref conspiracy against their team.

Honestly I don't remember Boroski calling many bad games during recent years. He was one of those guys you never wanted to see, but as time marched on he started to blend in better. I didn't know he was done. I thought maybe his improvement at the job led to the Big Ten dropping him from their roster of referees to use.

He was as crooked as officials get. I'm very inclined to believe the gambling earnings paid for early retirement.

Not quite...he left because he owns/operates Ref Quest portal which is used by almost every collegiate conf in America and the NCAA signed him on for long term.
