All Nebraska had to do was run the ball and make a first down to end the game. Wow! Coaches going to take some heat for the play calling.

Well, to be fair, the win over a team that's currently 5-0 was irrelevant in that decision.
I think that those Iowa State and Nebraska fans that post here are creepy pathetic losers. I normally would never do that..somebody who frequents another team's board is a worthless pile of human garbage..but, I did have to make my way to the Nebraska board to gawk tonight. Quite entertaining.

Honestly, it's no different than the postgame reaction from most teams after a horrible loss.....your fan base included. Every team has fans that go way over the top with their emotions.
True, but this really damages Nebraska's chance for the national title, don't you think? Maybe not, there's still plenty of football to be played.

Who would have thought between Northwestern, Indiana, and Nebraska that NU might be Iowa's easiest road game remaining?
I guess all losses are horrible, but everything I saw picked Illinios to win so you really only met expectations.
That's why it is a crapshoot when it comes to predicting W-L prior to the season ....and same goes for SOS. You never know for sure until you play well into the season what kind of team you have and how good )or bad)your opponents will be as well.
Fans tend to jump to conclusions based on very limited info -- there were multiple gloom threads here after the Kids Day scrimmage because the OL did not perform well that day ...many here predicted a losing record for Iowa this season based on that limited data (and Ferentz sucks, walk-on OTs suck, CJB is going to get killed, etc.).
It happens every year.
I was banned over there when they were invited to the B1G for explaining that they will find ways to piss away games to schools like Illinois or Northwestern. The days of playing the B12 North or the Big Eight are over, and so are the days of Nebrasks being a national power
