OT: Henderson hired as head coach at S Dakota State

Former Iowa prep standout Eric Henderson takes over for TJ Otzelberger, who was hired as head coach at UNLV.

Henderson played HS basketball at Maquoketa Valley before moving on to play under Greg McDermott at Wayne State. Henderson then began his coaching career alongside McDermott at Wayne State before moving to the prep level in Wisconsin, then as an assistant at North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

I was hoping it was Ricky.

He was their associate head coach previously.

I really hoped asst coach Rob Klinkafus (Harlan native and Buena Vista grad) would get the job.

They'll be hurting next year without Daum, interested to see if they can keep up their winning ways.

Would've been nice to see Daum get into the tournament his senior year, I think he'll get a look from the NBA
