OT Iowa City West semi final on CSN alternate channel 665-1 on DTV

It used to be that all the boys state tournament games are televised. I think on either the Mediacom channel or IPT. I can't find any of them on this year and they are to the semis in boys games now. I also have DTV so I can get CSN and found the class 4A semifinal game between Cedar Falls and Iowa City West will be on CSN channel 65-1. The game was supposed to start at 3:15 but the previous game is still going on because of an overtime so the game will be later than that.

At least Fran will get to see his boys play in the state tournament now I guess.

The Iowa City West game was supposed to start at 3:15 but it is now 3:15 and the previous game is now getting ready to start their second overtime. I don't know if they have a 30 minute delay between games or not but when I have been to high school tournament games at Wells Fargo teams warmed up on the floor between games.

What a game of futility. Valley won the game in the second overtime over Pleasant Valley by a player making a basket at the buzzer being the only two points scored in the second overtime by either team.

I have lived out of state for years and miss Iowa High School basketball and its tradition, but I have a question...Will they be looking to add a shot clock anytime soon? I watched the last 2:40 on the stream and it just seemed like a futile ending of a game.

Damn it's like pulling teeth sometimes.

No idea who but IC West had the ball in a tie game and got a good look from the corner with just 2 seconds left. Shot was off and with just under .3 seconds left, I think it might've been Lohaus who merely volleyball-tipped it back at the hoop and it banks in at the buzzer for the win.

Crazy win for IC West, much to the chagrin of non-Trojan and non-Fran McCaffery (because people are like that, that's why....thank you for asking because you the reader will....and this comment will still go over your f***ing heads) supporters.

Pemsl plays at 6:05 in the 3A and West plays at 8:05.
