The Hawkeyes went 3-0 to top their group and are in the semifinals. The Semifinal is 2:30 (looking like against Michigan State) and the Final is at 4 PM, right down Melrose and across from IC West High, which makes it perfect to hit up before the 6 PM session.

Iowa beat Illinois 24-10, Wisconsin B 43-10, and Purdue 33-19 so far today so I'll be there hoping they continue to roll. Just an FYI from a fan of both.

They have been saying that since the 70s. Good thing we qualified for the Olympics...oh wait. Well at least there is the regular Men's team. Didn't they just lose to Guatemala? Figure that one out population experts (of the ongoing PA vs IA wrestling thing).

Hey, I watch when the World Cup is on or when we are playing Mexico in soccer, mainly to troll my in laws when we win, but they actually play for a tie and it can be a "good result." Downright unAmerican. At least our players don't act like pansies and fake injuries when they are representing. Something I always liked about them.

We actually smoked Guatemala when it mattered most a few days later, 5-0. And both FOX and NBC are showing live games on network TV every weekend, and MLS has now passed NBA and NHL in average attendance and venues at capacity.

I wish wrestling would grow like that.
