I wish both teams could lose. I despise them both, but I despise Georgia and the SEC a little bit more, so it's good that ND is taking a 13-3 lead into the half. And LOL at Georgia for the turnover that led to an ND TD with seconds left before the half. Sometimes you should be aggressive. Sometimes you shouldn't. That didn't seem a like a good time for Georgia to be aggressive.

Notre Dame is probably my least favorite team; so it's go 'Dawgs for me.

We quite often see a lot of football teams have open WRs such as that last play by Georgia against a tremendous ND defense.

We don't, however, see that with Iowa. Are we thinking it's a lack of speed at WR or is it our playbook that sucks?

I don't get why our offense has to be so juvenile. And yeah, this is 'beating a dead horse' or whatever you want to call it but maaaaan...all these games are a simple reminder of how pitiful our offensive attack is.

If Kirk is watching this game, I would love to know what he is thinking. This is how big boy football is played today. The days of trying to sit on the football and let your defense try to run out the clock are over. You play to win the game and never let your foot off the gas. Notre Dame has absolutely put on a clinic in this 4th quarter on how to finish a game.

Kirk is still our coach, so, all this will remain in effect.

Plenty to complain about with respect to Kirk. But I am pretty confident that Iowa would have had a TE or RB try to chip that ND defensive end that was abusing the Georgia left tackle.

Also thought Georgia gave up on the running game a little too soon

We better hope the NIL spreads talent around outside of regions because the Midwest doesn't produce enough talent to feed Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State.

Wetjen has the speed, we don't put him in to stretch the D.

These 4 teams already have a lot of talent coming from outside the midwest. A quick scan of their rosters shows the following %s of players outside of midwest (with PA actually included as midwest)

ND 63%
MI 56%
PSU 46%
OSU 43%

I suspect these %s may even go up with the pending roster caps

??? We got abused by rush ends many times this year. What were we doing then?

Low % football. Kirby said he ragreted it already. If you don't understand %s, I'd recommend you not gamble real money...
I was talking about Notre Dame’s fourth quarter strategy.

No, I would not have tried to score before halftime with a true freshman backup.

Yes, so many things can go wrong in a football game. It’s scary. Iowa should start punting on 3rd down.
