You think if he was undefeated he would’ve got fired? Urban Meyer won 2 national titles and led the country in arrests while at Florida. Winning helps turn a blind eye to many things.

No but I think it's a little chicken and egg. The team may not have been 100% into it, focused, depth, etc and that creates L's.
